Meridian is happy to announce the addition of Dalinda Galaviz as the Human Resources Manager. Dalinda brings over 15 years of human resources experience in many industries, especially manufacturing, and holds a Masters of Science Administration degree from Central Michigan University and Bachelor of Arts in Biology degree from Park University. Dalinda is one of twelve siblings and an aunt of 39 nieces and nephews, so she spends plenty of time with her large family. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- August 2012 ---------- The Meridian International Group Family celebrated the contribution of its members at our annual company picnic with Graff & Polco Metal Finishing - a fun event for all ages. Judy Laessig, Meridian International Group’s Human Resources Manager, retired this month after 9 years of exceptional service. We’re sad to see her go but are thankful for everything she has done and wish her good luck in her future endeavors. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- August 2012 ---------- Valvex recently announced the hiring of Greg Kwiatkowski as their new National Sales Director. The main task of the new Director will be to continue implementation of the Valvex's sales strategy, aiming to increase the competitiveness and the effectiveness of entire organization. Greg began his career at Mitex, followed by many years at Cersanit Group, and in recent times, Polcolorit. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- May 2012 ---------- Valvex presented new products during the AQUA-THERM Fair May 15-18, one of the most important events in the installation industry in Central and Eastern Europe. The fair annually attracts about 50,000 visitors, the vast majority of whom are industry professionals.-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- March 2012 ---------- Valvex SA gained a new member of the board. It is Greg Saniawa, who took the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. New Vice President has extensive experience in management in various areas of the organization, particularly in the sectors of trade and marketing. For most of his career he was responsible for developing sales in the European markets. The main task of the new Vice President will be the continuation and development of sales and marketing strategies, aiming to further improve the competitiveness and efficiency of the company. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- February 2012 ---------- Valvex was certified as the Solid Company in the Malopolska region of Poland in the Economic-Consumer Program under the auspices of the Delegation of the European Commission. It is second time when the title Solid Company was awarded to Valvex for timely payment of all obligations and respect for ecology and consumer rights. We are particularly proud to receive this certificate because it is confirmation that Valvex SA is a reliable partner to build strong and solid business relationship. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- February 2012 ---------- Graff, a leading manufacturer of high-end faucets and shower products for the kitchen and bath industry, announced today that they’ve promoted their own Chris Kulig to the position of Strategy and Business Development Manager. The role, created specifically for Kulig, encompasses a variety of strategic business directions that will continue to expand GRAFF’s brand and standing within the home design industry. “Chris has spent eight years at GRAFF. Learning the business from the ground up, and this position is the logical next step for GRAFF and for Chris,” said TJ Mullally, Director of Sales for GRAFF. “Chris has spent the last year as the Western Regional Manager and he has played an important role in developing territories throughout North America. He will bring all of his experience with him to this new position, which will allow him to utilize his skills as a manager and production facilitator, putting into place new marketing programs and business development initiatives. He will continue to attend industry trade shows and events, representing the brand and meeting with GRAFF’s representatives across the country.” “I’m excited to begin this new direction for GRAFF, and I welcome the opportunity,” said Kulig. “My first priority has always been growing the GRAFF brand, and in this new position, I look forward to turning my ideas into actionable agenda items and programs.” -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- October 2011 ---------- GRAFF, the premier manufacturer of contemporary faucets and shower products for the kitchen and bath industry has announced the hire of Stephen LaMachia to act as their Regional Sales Manager for the East Coast, effective immediately. LaMachia’s main focus will be managing independent reps, showrooms and dealers throughout the East, bringing his years of industry experience to continue GRAFF’s expansion. He will also work to deepen GRAFF’s existing relationships and to build new ones within the A & D community. “Stephen brings years of experience in sales in the kitchen and bath industry,” says Ziggy Kulig, CEO of GRAFF. “This knowledge plus his relationship-building skills made him and important addition to our team as we strengthen our core and continue to grow.” Stephen joins GRAFF after working as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Hastings Tile & Bath and previously for Sonia® America.
